Circa, 1042-66. Silver, 1.26 grams, 20.05 mm. Obverse: bearded bust right in pointed helmet, + EDPER D REX. Reverse: Voided short cross with pellet-in-annulet at centre, triple crescents at each end, CODPINE ON OXCNE Moneyer Codwine at the Oxford mint. Pointed helmet type. Ref: Spink 1179. Cracked flan, light passing through the coin.
