Description
Medieval copper alloy mount, circa 13th-15th century AD. 15.95 g, 53mm x 27mm. A rectangular shaped bronze plate, possibly from a book or belt fitting. The piece is detailed with two panels that are referencing what appears to be scenes from the nativity. The reverse is plain with ware and shows no signs of fixing.
