Description
Copper-alloy enamelled and silvered Roman bridge type brooch, Circa, 2nd century AD. 6.88 g, 38mm. At each end there are acorn shaped knops with an arched bow inbetween. The central panel is rectangular in shape with two rows of enamelled triangles back to back. Catchplate on the reverse with pin intact. Ref: Richard Hattatt-Ancient And Romano-British Brooches.
