Copper-alloy enamelled Roman disc brooch, Circa, 2nd century AD. 4.70 g, 20mm. Circular-shaped with sexfoil motif. The design has a central circle with six outer circles each joined by an inwards curving line, the outer recess is heavily enamelled red. Catchplate on the reverse with remnants of the spring opposite. Ref: Richard Hattatt-Ancient And Romano-British Brooches.
