Copper-alloy Roman zoomorphic knife terminal, Circa, 1st-4th century AD. 9.79 g, 21mm x 19mm. In the form of a horse head showing a detailed mane with curved line grooves. The ears are erect and the mouth is open. Part of the iron tang survives and projects from the base of the neck. Ref: for similar examples see: Nigel Mills, Celtic and Roman Artefacts.
